Emeline Playing The Piano.

When Emmy got home from camp one of the first things she did was sit down to play the piano. 
We have gone through 4 kids taking years of piano lessons to get this one who plays for enjoyment. 

Austin's 25th Birthday

Had a lovely day at church. Jessy was finally able to get time off from work to join us.  Emmy returned from camp on the 4th and had a good time.  Skyped with Austin and Steph and sang happy birthday to him via skype.  This will be a life saver when the baby arrives. 

We are getting ready to fly to Florida on Tuesday to visit them.  If there is a news release about a lady freaking out on an airplane it will probably mean that I wasn't able to get a prescription for something to get my through it.  Hopefully if it gets to the point of freaking I will just hyperventilate and pass out.

It has been a busy day.  Dog grooming, car cleaning, Johnson party, Fuller wedding and now we are going to sleep under the stars in the back yard. 

Spent the day at the Karlgren's for fun, food, and swimming.  Then spent the evening at our house swimming with the Rummlers.  Then on to Oak Hills Rummler fire pit for watching spectacular fireworks all over the valley.

Had a wonderful time traveling to Uintah for vacation.  Visited Mike and Suzanne Mestas.  Attended Willey Family Reunion Saturday and Weber Memorial Park.  Pictures to follow. 

Prop 8

I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman. These are "MY" religious views. Having said that I do not feel that it is my right to take away another persons right to agency; to choose for themselves. I do not believe that the state should be involved in deciding who should marry. I believe that the church or one's own god should make that decision.
"MY" opinion is that all couples who want to establish a partnership based on legality whether straight or gay should form a domestic partnership and that marriage should be a matter of one's individual church. As one of the Articles of my faith states: We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where or what they may.
Just as when those I love come to celebrate certain events in my life though they may not subscribe to my beliefs I too will come to celebrate certain events in their lives though I may not subscribe to their beliefs. As long as I or those I love or the innocent are not being harmed by others actions I will live and let live.
I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my Savior. I have a testimony of a Living Prophet on the earth today. I have a testimony that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he was an instrument in the Lords hands to bring the truth again to the earth. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Lords true church upon the earth. This is "MY" testimony in the Name of Jesus Christ. I WILL NOT force my beliefs on others. I am grateful to those who may not have believed as I do but who allowed me to make my own decisions and I hope that that can be said of myself to others.
