This is on the trail of the Pacific Crest Trail.  There is a group campsite here and three historic cabins.

So we had a great time. Lyndy, Andrew and Jessy surprised us by coming up later the first day to join Jeff, Emmy and me.  We had so much fun hiking, playing games, laughing and relaxing.  The only ones missing were Austin and Steph, other than that it was a perfect winding up of our summer vacation.  I actually was there but I am the family photographer.  Next time I will put some selfies in.

Our 2014 trip to Florida/Georgia

Some of the things we loved, Cracker Barrel, Grits, 4 Rivers BBQ, the warm ocean and free open beaches, friendly people.

Things we did not like.  Checkers and Zazbys.

Can't wait to go back and spend a week in Savannah touring everything we missed.

 Downtown Jacksonville

 On our way to Georgia
 Liberty Trail Sunbury

 They have Manatee warnings
 Little boat ramp
Thick lush forests

Some of the Architecture and famous buildings in Savannah.

First Jewish Temple in Savannah, a dedication to a doctor who saved many people from (I think) Yellow fever.

Tabby- 1 part water, 1 part lime 1 part oyster shells.
This was a saloon where they kidnapped people through under ground tunnels to become pirates.

 A old house.

a neat restaurant.

Spring Hill Redoubt.  55 minute battle that killed close to 1000 during The Siege of Savannah.
 Everywhere thick groves of trees.

Lastly Checkers Fries.  Jeff: WHY DO THEY HAVE TO MESS WITH FRIES?!!!!!!
